Since 1941, the USO has been the nation’s leading organization serving the men and women in the U.S. military members, and their families, throughout their time in uniform. From the moment they join, through their assignments and deployments, and as they transition back into their communities, the USO is Always by Their Side. The reach of the USO’s over 200 locations extends to countries across the world, operated by thousands of staff and volunteers whose goals are to provide best-in-class support to those who sacrifice so much for America.

The USO South Texas serves thousands of local military service members and their families at our center on NAS Corpus Christi and community programs each year. South Texas is home to a two Naval Air Stations, countless national guard and reserve units, multiple active-duty Coast Guard and recruiting stations for each of the branches. We serve the more than 5,000 actively serving military plus their families with programming focused on:

  • Family Strengthening
  • Health, Wellness & Resiliency
  • Education, Employment & Reintegration
  • Comforting & Connecting Centers

The USO is not part of the federal government. A congressionally chartered, highly rated 501©3 charitable organization, the USO relies on the generosity of individuals, organizations and corporations to support its activities, and is powered by a family of volunteers to accomplish our mission of strength and connection.
